Jacob L. Grant & Mark T. Russell

Mark T. Russell often found himself swinging a yardstick as if it were a sword when he was a young man. This measuring tool became a deadly weapon as he imagined himself fighting off a horde of bestial foes in his living room. As the character of Legion was born, so also was a story that would bring him from the pits of darkness to the glory of redemption. This idea fermented in Mark’s brain for a couple of years until he joined with fellow yardstick-wielding comrade, Jacob L. Grant.

Jacob L. Grant was first published when he was 16—the short story “My Dad’s A Cop” in The Informer magazine. A year later his poem “The Predator and The Prey” was published in The Green Mountain Trading Post. His first novel, The Maker’s Child, was published when he was 18. He is a journalist and photographer for The Caledonian-Record newspaper in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. He was home-schooled from second grade through high school.

Look for Book Two, The Dragon, and Book Three, The Whispering, soon!
