Ever been on a plane that was filled with an odoriferous scent to find that someone opened up their subway club and is enjoying the best grinder ever? You know what I am talking about! That wafting aroma that is more like the scent of a junior varsity locker room, than a delicious meal of bread, meat, cheese and veg…
I LOVE onions on my sandwiches but they are offensive! Not wrong but smelly… I didn’t even notice how smelly they were until a couple years ago, on a cross-country flight, a gal opened up her sandwich and woh! That was foul!
It was at that moment, the realization that loving others well might include leaving off the onions.
With current events… same, I will choose to love others. I don’t have to force my point of view on anyone. Some things I would like to say and have the right to say but I will hold in my heart and it bring to prayer because it is in that place that anything good could happen anyway.
Maybe you will hold the onions too…~heather
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9 The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
